East Point, Santa Cruz Island is a survey station established by William E. Greenwell on July 30, 1857.

“Starting from Mondran’s house [Scorpion Canyon], follow up the cañon by the road and so on until you reach the scrub oak on the mountain. From here the hill will be in full sight, bearing about ESE. It is a smooth conspicuous hill, and overlooks the shore and cannot be mistaken, as it is the only high hill near the east point of the island.”

San Pedro Point is the easternmost point of Santa Cruz Island.
