Extreme Snailing, Doctors Cove, Santa Catalina Island

Extreme Snailing (#) (-2011), 40-foot fiberglass sailboat that sank in about 55 feet of water at Doctors Cove, Santa Catalina Island in May 2011 during a storm. This part of the island is a part of a marine preserve that protects marine invertebrates. No lobster taking.

Location: Mainland side of Catalina Island just northwest of Emerald Bay. GPS N33° 28.26′, W118° 31.878′
