FELTROP, Doris (1921-1926), died in Avalon of influezna. She is buried in Live Oak Memorial Park, Monrovia.

November 11, 1925 [TI/Avalon]: “Little Claudia Walton was a charming little hostess, on Saturday afternoon, when a happy vrowd of youngsters helped her celebrate her fifth birthday anniversary. There was a big birthday cake and other dainty refreshments to delight the little folk, who thoroughly enjoyed the delightful afternoon. Those present besides the hostess were Rodin Williams, Tootsy Brown, Helen Craig, Elizabeth Craig, Jimmy Craig, Jackie Dows, Jack Carson, Virginia Feltrop, Doris Feltrop, Mary O'Leary, Louise Stamford, Janie May Stamford, Thelma Cameron, John Silko, Romaine Sampson, DOrothy Miller, Bartha Garcia, Martha Garcia, Kendrick Adargo, Dorn Tregarthen, Helen Gibson and Helen McClure. Mrs. Walton was assisted in entertaining by Mesdames McClure, Dows and Packman.”

May 19, 1926 [TI/Avalon]: “Doris Feltrop, the six-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Feltrop, died at the Catalina Hospital Monday morning. The little girl was a victim of intestinal influenza, and was ill for but eleven days. The interment was held in Los Angeles.”

May 19, 1926 [TI/Avalon]: “Card of thanks. For the many expressions of sympathy at the loss of our daughter Doris, we desire to convey to the people of Avalon our sincere appreciation. Signed, Mr. and Mrs. George Feltrop and family.”
