September 2, 1876 [DAC]: “The steamer Idaho, having been thoroughly repaired, will be placed on Goodall, Perkins & Co.'s southern route as a freight boat. She commences running on Monday next, and will take in all the ports as far south as Anaheim.”


November 4, 1876 [DAC]: “Importations. Per Idaho. Santa Cruz Island — 354 bales wool, 10 dozen pelts, 1 barrel tallow, 13 dry hides.”


November 3, 1877 [SDU]: “The steamer Idaho, belonging to the Pacific Coast Steamship Company, having been thoroughly overhauled, has been assigned to the Portland route, and will start for the north on Saturday. Her repairs have cost early $70,000.
