Lillian (#207500) (1910-1916), 33-foot gasoline-powered schooner out of San Diego, California wrecked in the moonlight of December 2, 1916 during in a gale on the west side of San Nicolas Island. Lillian lost her propeller near a reef. There was a failed endeavor to clear the reef under reefed sails. The vessel was owned by William Esquibel [Esquivel]. He and his two crew survived the incident. Pedro Corderos assisted in getting the men to shore.
