How the author was led to invest money and take part in an expedition to secure moving pictures of the sea elephant. Although luck favored them and striking films were secured, the investors in the enterprise failed to reap the promised reward. "The story is true in all details," writes the Author, "though for obvious reasons the names given are fictitious."
