Museum of Comparative Oology [Journal]
"The world museum of birds' eggs was launched under a dual sponsorship, a social-civic, represented by Mr. Joel R. Fithian, who has faithfully served the institution for three years as its president; and the scientific, represented by William Leon Dawson, the ornithologist."
Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History was organized in 1923 as an expansion of the original Santa Barbara Museum of Comparative Oology.
