Near, Santa Cruz Island, a survey station established on Santa Cruz Island in 1934 by Charles K. Greene. It was located

“on the top of a sharp ridge-like point at Posa Anchorage, south side of Santa Cruz Island, elevation 39 feet. The outermost ledge off Morse Point is in range with highest point on Gull Island, and station is 80 meters in from the extreme tip of the point. Strata on this point is standing on edge, and at the station is a mass of conglomerate outcropping.”

It was marked with a standard disk. This triangulation station appears on the Santa Cruz Island Sheet A topographic map.
