From Nidiologist to Nidologist in 1896


The Nidologist (AKA Nidiologist), An Illustrated Monthly Journal of North American Orithology and Oology. Published by Henry Reed Taylor. 40 issues published from September 1893 through May 1897. Seven (7) issues of The Nidologist were published their last year (1896-1897).


The Nidiologist was first published in Alameda, California in September 1893. In 1896 the journal changed its name to The Nidologist and publication changed to New York City. Publication of The Nidologist suspended after volume IV, no. 9, 1897 and merged into the Popular Science Monthly.
