Nub, Santa Cruz Island is a survey station established in 1934 by Charles K. Greene:

“located on top of a round knoll 337 feet high, just in from (about 200 meters) and lst knoll south of the landing at Valley Anchorage. Station is on highest tip of knoll on outcropping rock 3 feet high and 10 feet long.”

The horizontal coordinates were established by classical geodetic methods and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1996.
