February 28, 1957 [Camarillo Star]: “Three men saved by Coast Guard. Three San Fernando valley men, Harold M. Loucks, Hugh Davis and Charles Felix, all employees of Lockheed Aircraft Company were marooned for overnight when their 21-foot cabin cruiser was wrecked on Santa Rosa Island Monday night. They were discovered Tuesday morning by the Coast Guard and rescued. The trio had started out from Port Hueneme to expore a cave on Santa Cruz Island.”
