1907 San Clemente Island: “Ixoreus naevius. Varied Thrush. Near Howlands ’ in January and February several specimens were taken. Several secured in the canyons near Mosquito Harbor, March and April. 1927 Santa Catalina Island: “Ixoreus naevius meruloides. Varied Thrush. Two birds were seen by [Dudley] DeGroot and [O. W.] Howard.” [“Through the generosity of Mr. Silsby M.
